Warehouse Labourer

$22.00 – $24.00/hourly

They are a Canadian-owned company with 30 years of experience, have become a producer of top-quality doors, frames, and hardware products to many institutional sectors, and have devoted their service in making sure that deadlines are met.

They are seeking a Warehouse Labourer with 3 or more years of experience to add to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand blueprints and shop drawings
• Use manual mill and lathe machines to fabricate parts
• Use machine shop tools such as brake presses, drill presses and shears
• Use hand tools such as drills, grinders, plasma cutter
• Work effectively and efficiently to complete your work within the job standard
• Safe operation of forklift machine as required
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Must be able to read and understand shop measurement tools
• Work well within a team and work independently under minimum supervision
• Able to lift heavy products (75lbs+) bend and stand for long periods of time
• Flexible,reliable and punctual
• Can adapt to changing environments
• Able to travel within Canada and the U.S.A
• Must live within reasonable distance of workplace (Mississauga, Canada, Ontario)
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Valid G license
• Valid D license an asset
• Clear criminal record
