Warehouse Associate

 About the Company:

Our client, a telecommunications company, is a leader in technology construction and infrastructure services to the public and private sector and has been doing it for 10+ years. They are expanding at a rapid pace and are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team in Vaughan, ON!

Responsibilities:

• Work independently to pick, pack and ship product
• Check in and put away materials, verifying quantities and quality of received materials
• Maintain clear isles and walkways
• Ensure materials are properly organized
• Receive and unload truck/trailers as needed at customer and/or branch locations
• Occasionally assist teams onsite at project location
• Know location of merchandise in warehouse
• Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required
• Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions
• Ability to multi-task
• Good computer skills, Word, Excel, power point
• Must be in good physical condition with the ability to bend and lift up to 75 lbs
• Forklift license and the ability to drive a 16′ cube van with a possible 16′ trailer extension are a bonus
• Willing to work overtime hours
• Ability to use all types of warehouse equipment
