Job description

Our client supplies, installs and maintains people counting systems, vehicle counting systems and vehicle guidance systems.

They are seeking a Support Services/Help Desk Analyst to join their team.

 

Responsibilities:

– Provide support for customer base with daily monitoring of customer sites

– First point of contact for all service related issues/track and resolve issues to completion

– Provide support for technicians in field

– Provide support for new customer installations

– On-going development on product lines becoming subject matter expert

– Author and maintain documentation

 

Must Have Requirements:

– 1 to 2 years help desk experience with custom application support

– Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

– Excellent documentation skills (Office 2010)

– PC setup and configuration

– Windows XP, Vista, 7 64-bit.8

– Internet platforms (Java, JRE)

– Remote tools (Teamviewer, RDP, Webex, GotoMeeting)

– Networking (NIC configuration, TCP/IP configuration, 10BT)

– Communications (RS232, RS422)

– Hands-on component/equipment replacement and customer sites

– Able to safely handle ladders and heights

 

Additional Skills:

– SQL databases

– Clean driver’s abstract

– Able to travel to customer sites locally, CANADA, US
