About the Company:

Our client is a leader in the production and manufacturing of metal and steel materials. They have been known for their excellent customer service and delivery of top-quality products to many industries across North America. They have recently opened a large industrial plant and are seeking a Steel Inspector to join their team!

Responsibilities:

– Review daily quality of rolled or coated product including surface evaluation, mill and quality audits

– Disposition cold rolled, galvanized and painted steel products

– Conduct and assist with projects aimed at improving quality

– Engage in projects and improve yields and reduce cost

– Provide technical assistance to line operating personnel and business units

Requirements:

– 5+ years of relevant experience

– Steel inspector level 2 with ISO Internal Auditing

– Family with NACE standards would be considered an asset

– Familiar with the Structural Steel Environment

– Good problem solving and leadership skills

– Strong oral and written communication skills
