Project Manager – Network and Security Systems

About the Company:

Our client is a leading company in networks and security systems integration. For more than 20 years they have been providing their clients with top notch service. They are growing at a rapid pace and are currently seeking to add a project manager to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all phases of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, coordinating employees, material and equipment
• Ensure projects are being completed in a timely manner
• Handle all project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration
• Assist with preparation and submission of project budget estimates
• Plan and prepare schedules and milestones
• Assist in the preparation of contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Oversee performance of all employees
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or certificate in project management, business admin, computer science or electrical engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
• Minimum of 2 years of technical field experience for IoT installation work
• Valid Drivers’ license with clean abstract
• Demonstrated experience planning, organizing and coordinating construction projects
• Experience reading plans and ability to understand the scope of projects assigned
• Extensive knowledge of applicable laws, codes and industry regulations
• Familiar with project management software (i.e. Smartsheet) and MS Office
