Our client is a reputable full-service landscape design and construction company across the GTA. Operating for over 35 years, they provided award-winning landscape design, installation, and maintenance projects. They have serviced residential and commercial customers all year round with projects including hardscaping, softscaping, pool construction, grading, retaining walls, planting, sodding, and maintenance operations.

They are seeking a Landscape Construction Foreman to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a crew of 3-5 people
• Coordinate and schedule the day to day work activities of the crew
• Installation of hardscape features such as concrete, unit pavers, retaining walls and fencing, etc.
• Installation of softscape features such as planting, sod and seed
• Concrete forming and finishing
• Follow directions well and help delegate responsibilities on-site

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in high-end residential landscape design/build as Foreman
• Must have a good working knowledge of landscape construction materials and techniques, including natural stone, precast stone, retaining walls, grading, sodding, planting, etc.
• Ability to work with various hand/power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings and specifications
• Valid Driver’s License and a Clean Driver’s Abstract
