Construction Site Manager (Commercial and Residential)

About the Company:

Our client is a full-service General Contractor servicing the commercial, institutional, industrial and residential construction sector. They specialize in new builds of custom high-end homes, renovations and project management. Having more than a decade of dedicated construction experience, they have grown rapidly and are seeking a Site Manager to join their team for their residential and commercial projects across the GTA.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Project Manager and team to successfully complete projects in a timely manner
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors, managers and other stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Drive between sites, pick up materials and other tasks that require driving
• Ensure work site is safe, organized and tidy
• Maintain detailed records of workforce on site (i.e. signing in and out for staff, receipts, etc.)
• Perform other duties as required by management

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in commercial/residential construction
• Proven experience in a leadership role
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Valid certifications of safety and educational achievements
• Working knowledge of Ontario Building Code
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid G Driver’s license and access to own vehicle
