Commercial Acoustics Installer

About the Company:

Our client is a busy and growing commercial construction company that provides interior finish solutions, wall panel services and acoustic treatments. They have worked with top companies such as Microsoft, Shopify, LinkedIn, BMO, Pepsi, Hewlett Packard, Questrade, University of Toronto, and Bank of Canada. They are actively seeking an Acoustics Installer to add to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret architectural & shops drawings and blueprints
• Install acoustic interior finishes to walls and ceilings at commercial construction projects
• Install Z-clips, adhering, and suspension commercial finishes
• Install wall vinyl
• General carpentry and site cleanups
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Experience in installing interior acoustic wall and ceiling finishes
• Experience in custom millwork and/or interior finish carpentry
• Experience in mid to large commercial construction projects
• Up-to-date Safety Certifications (Working at heights, 4 Steps, WHMIS, etc)
• Own basic tools (tape measure, pencil, and utility knife) and own PPE (Steel toes, Hard hat, High-vis)
• Strong communication skills
• Professional and punctual
