310T Truck Technician

About the Company:
Our client is one of the largest independent tank manufacturing facilities in Canada. Manufacturing cargo tanks, trailers and emergency vehicles for the distribution of petroleum. Looking to bring onboard an experienced 310T Mechanic (On Road & In Shop) Service Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Performs repairs and services on various types of Emergency Service Vehicles
• Performs preventive maintenance on various types of Emergency Service Vehicles and equipment
• Use of grinders, drill presses, air compressors, and common hand and power tools
• Uses instruction manuals and wiring diagrams to diagnose components, and electrical wiring

Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ experience as truck and coach mechanic OR certified heavy equipment mechanic
• A valid driver’s license and a valid DZ license are required
• In good standing with the Ontario College of trades
• EVT Technician required
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Knowledge of the use of hand tools and measuring devices
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced and changing environment
