About the Company:

Our client specializes in the consulting, design, manufacturing  and installation of architectural and structural precast concrete for builders, developers and architects across Canada and North Eastern USA. They are growing at a rapid pace and are seeking Overhead Gantry Crane Operators to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform morning checks on the cranes to ensure they are in working order
• Provide preventative maintenance if required
• Assist in loading and moving precast concrete and steel pieces
• Adhere to all safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the steel industry
• Swamping experience considered to be a great asset
• Specific experience working with overhead cranes
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Possesses excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving skills
