CNC Operator

$30.00-$35.00/hourly

About the Company:

Our client is a custom designer of high end kitchens for residential clients in the GTA. For the past 15 years they have assisted their clients in designing the kitchens of their dreams. They are growing at a rapid rate and are currently seeking a carpenter to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Program and operate CNC machines to produce cabinet components
• Using tooling for CNC machining of solid wood or wood-based materials
• Follow provided production schedules and work with supplied documentation to ensure smooth and efficient flow of material
• Maintain CNC equipment to ensure safe and efficient long-term performance

Requirements:

• Recent production experience running a CNC machining centre to produce wood products
• Experience programming CNC routers
• Experience programming and operating a nesting CNC router is strongly preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of Biesse Native software is a plus
• Relevant CAD software knowledge (Woodwop, Maestro, Mastercam, etc.) would suffice if no prior experience with Biesse Native Software
• Ability to read shop drawings
