$23.00-$32.00/hour

About the Company:

Our client is a busy and growing manufacturing company that offers high-quality craftsmanship in custom cabinetry for your kitchen and baths as well as custom wall units, closets, offices, mud rooms and laundry rooms. Located in Brampton, Ontario they are currently looking to add an experienced Cabinet Maker to work diligently alongside a  team of experts in the fine cabinetry industry.

Responsibilities:

• Craft, assemble and repair wooden cabinets and other fine wooden furniture
• Follow drawings and specifications and/or read floorplans
• Replicate past designs while using appropriate tools
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and assist other carpenters and cabinet makers
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and regulations at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have working knowledge of carpentry
• Must have strong knowledge of shop practices and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work within a team and work under little supervision
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have own PPE
• Knowledge of First Aid and CPR is an asset
