About the Company:

Our client is a telecommunications company and a leader in the technology construction and infrastructure sector. They service public and private customers across North America for over 10 years! They are expanding at a rapid pace and are looking for a Wireless Project Manager to join their team in Vaughan, ON!

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of construction personnel including warehouse and crew members, sub-contractors and suppliers and be the main point of contact on all assigned projects
• Maintain and grow internal workforce
• Maintain awareness of project status and alert project managers if there are issues meeting deadlines
• Negotiate costs within scope of project
• Assist with coordination of schedules, cost, and estimations
• Assist with Coordination of sub-contractors and deliverables
• Act as point of contact for urgent, escalated matters among the team
• Coordinate site access with property owners as needed, lockbox codes, gate codes, materials transportation to site and site logistics
• Provide oversight during construction on all assigned construction projects both in the office and in the field
• Serve as single point of contact between project management and construction execution
• Actively participate in and make recommendations in vendor selection process

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years experience in a senior leadership position managing construction subcontractors and crews
• Knowledgeable in all areas of Construction Safety
• Excellent communication skills written and spoken
• Extensive expertise in hiring & managing field personnel
• Reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
• Advance working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Project, Excel and PowerPoint
• Valid drivers licence with clean drivers abstract
