About the Company:

Our client specializes in custom metal fabrication and welding services serving Hamilton and surrounding areas. They are known for their excellent customer service and quick turnaround. They are seeking a passionate & hardworking shop welder to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, read & interpret blueprints, drawings, and layouts
• Perform various welding processes and check welds to ensure that they meet the specifications and standards
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment (i.e. torches, grinders, saw, etc.)
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 to 3 years experience as a Welder
• Familiar with welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW
• Must be able to lift to 45lbs
• Team player and punctual
• Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid G license and a vehicle (asset)
