About the Company:
Our client is a growing company that installs and distributes a wide range of tiles including ceramic, porcelain, glass and stone surfaces. Operating for over 30 years, they have built an exceeding reputation for cutting-edge and design-forward material solutions to the architect, designer communities and residential customers. They have built a team of highly skilled installers and fabricators and are seeking a Foreman to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the completion of tile, marble, quartz and stone installations
- Coordinate a crew of workers while following company policy and procedures
- Complete work in a timely manner (including labour, tools, equipment and material)
- Communicate with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure all work is completed
- Deliver materials to sites and pick up materials from suppliers
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as production reports, timesheets, equipment logs, inspection reports, order changes and updating project files
- Other duties assigned
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in the tile or marble industry
- Experience as a Foreman, Lead hand or any related supervisory role is a must
- Ability to read and understand project specifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Safety Training Certificates (Working at Heights Certificate, WHMIS, & OHSA in 4 steps, etc.) are considered an asset
- Possess own PPE
