About the Company:

Our client is a leader in providing clean air solutions to their industrial clients. For over 20 years they have been providing top quality services to their clients in and around the GTA and Golden Horseshoe areas.

They are expanding at a rapid pace and are currently seeking a pipe fitter to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to determine layout requirements
• Use drawings to create bill of materials for quotes and RFQ’s
• Work with sales personnel to create quotes and present to customers
• Utilize hand, power tools, threaded and grooving machine
• Accurately measure, cut and thread pipe with no supervision
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and always wear correct PPE
• Install supports, valves, piping and control systems and test for leaks as per TSSA guidelines
• Keep company vehicle clean and ensure maintenance inside and out
• Attend training as required
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Prior knowledge in the industry
• Possesses a strong knowledge of how to operate hand, power tools and speciality equipment
• Strong communication, problem solving and organization skills
• G drivers license with clean abstract
• Possesses a strong customer service mindset
