About the Company:

Our client is a large construction company specializing in residential and commercial construction. They offer services such as maintenance work , large commercial rebuilds, carpentry, residential renovation, plumbing, new build-outs, commercial renovations, waterproofing, concrete polishing, specialty projects and general contracting. Servicing the GTA they are experience such high demand and are seeking a Lead Carpenter to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Assign tasks and coordinate with other team members and sub trades
• Able to work independently or with a team on-site and possess the ability to lead and direct to keep jobs running smoothly
• Perform framing and finish carpentry
• Repair and renovate structures
• Concrete forming
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years work-related experience
• Highly skilled in framing and finish carpentry in both residential and commercial builds
• Knowledge in safe operation of various hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, field drawings and plans
• Own tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Own vehicle
