About the Company:
Our client is a full-service General Contractor servicing the commercial, institutional, industrial and residential construction sector. They specialize in new builds of custom high-end homes, renovations and project management. Having more than a decade of dedicated construction experience, they have grown rapidly and are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team and manage their on-going construction projects across the GTA.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with owner, clients, architects and designers to construct project scope, plan and schedules
- Organize, supervise and effectively communicate with team required to ensure completion of projects in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients, client representative and external organizations as needed to complete projects
- Check project progress and follow up with necessary team members to ensure objectives are met
- Collect necessary field data, assist with drawings and review tender documents
- Other related duties as required
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial/residential construction/engineering environment in a leadership role
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Project Management
- PMP designation is considered an asset
- Proven experience leading a team of 10+ members
- Computer literacy with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong planning, organization skills and must possess a high attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and on multiple projects
- Strong inter-personal skills and ability to negotiate effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Valid G driver’s license and own vehicle
